Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) for commercial viability
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D collaboration
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026+ initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, blockchain, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Prior experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
