Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging tech disruptors
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations in sustainable computing
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with 2030 sustainability goals
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping
- Present strategic tech forecasts to investors and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or biotech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (post-2020)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with research publications
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling tech teams from concept to market leadership
- Prior work with regulatory bodies on tech policy frameworks
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies or industry-shifting initiatives
