Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Manage innovation pipeline with $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and government initiatives (e.g., ARPA-E)
- Drive ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies including AI governance and biotech oversight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech foresight
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year vision cycles
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
