Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Lead the creation of a comprehensive 2026 Technology Strategy, identifying key technological disruptions that impact our industry.
- Roadmap Development: Translate business goals into technical milestones, creating a detailed 2-3 year roadmap for engineering and product teams.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research on emerging tech stacks (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Web3) and assess their viability for internal adoption.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Spearhead pilot programs and PoCs to validate new technologies before committing to full-scale implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product, and Sales, to align technology strategy with market needs.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor technology stacks and industry standards to ensure Apex Horizon remains a market leader.
- Resource Planning: Forecast technology needs and budget requirements for future projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, product management, or strategic consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Tech Savviness: Deep understanding of current tech trends and a strong ability to predict future trajectories (e.g., AI, Cloud Native, Quantum).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of developing successful long-term technology strategies that drive business growth.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-level projects.
