Our Austin hub offers unparalleled resources including quantum research labs, neuro-interfaces testing facilities, and collaborative maker spaces. This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and includes stock options in our pre-IPO growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable frameworks for 2026 technology convergence (quantum-AI-bio interfaces)
- Lead R&D initiatives in neuromorphic computing and ambient intelligence systems
- Develop ethical governance protocols for autonomous decision-making ecosystems
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on bleeding-edge prototypes
- Translate theoretical models into commercializable tech roadmaps
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams in emerging tech adoption methodologies
- Secure federal innovation grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Bioinformatics
- 5+ years architecting complex systems with at least 2 in emerging tech
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI ethics or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated experience securing DARPA/NASA grants
- Fluency in ISO/IEC 42001 AI governance standards
- Portfolio of deployed systems impacting >1M users
