Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and post-quantum cryptography
- Design and implement ethical AI frameworks for autonomous systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD interns and cross-functional innovation teams
- Translate theoretical research into scalable prototypes with 18-month commercialization roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published 15+ papers in Nature/Science/IEEE journals on quantum or AI topics
- Expertise in quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit) and deep learning frameworks
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Strong background in cryptography and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and GPU acceleration
- Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
