Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional discovery sprints evaluating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech applications
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-centric design principles
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic research labs (MIT Media Lab, Stanford AI Lab) and venture accelerators
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for C-suite executives and investment committees
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success, measuring ROI on emerging tech investments
- Present future scenarios to the board of directors, informing long-term capital allocation decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with proven 2020+ technology adoption track record
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotechnology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field with PhD preferred
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of emerging technologies
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global stakeholder engagement
