Responsibilities
- Lead research and strategic analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify market opportunities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and industry disruption
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscape shifts
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to foster cross-functional ideation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech publications or patents
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
