Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and scale next-generation solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and boards
- Drive innovation culture through workshops, thought leadership, and internal tech evangelism
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
