Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering/product teams
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for future tech incubation
- Present strategic vision to investors and industry conferences
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford AI, and similar institutions
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products
- Strong financial modeling for R&D investment decisions
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks and design thinking
- Global network connections with tech innovation ecosystems
