Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and corporate vision for 2026
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and carbon-negative tech
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4, bio-integrated systems, decentralized AI) for strategic implementation
- Partner with C-suite to translate technological foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and lead an innovation lab focused on prototyping next-gen solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2026-tech implementation
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Portfolio of successfully launched future-tech initiatives (quantum applications, ethical AI frameworks)
- Experience securing >$5M in innovation funding through federal/state grants
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
