Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to inform strategic planning
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead high-stakes stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future tech adoption
- Partner with R&D to prototype breakthrough solutions targeting 2026 market needs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
- Present future scenarios to executive teams with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology
- Strong financial modeling for tech ROI and market penetration
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
