Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) and assess market viability for 2026+ adoption
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating cutting-edge tech with existing enterprise infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks and risk mitigation protocols for experimental tech deployment
- Partner with R&D to accelerate lab-to-market translation of breakthrough innovations
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record in identifying and scaling transformative technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological convergence scenarios
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for experimental technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio of launched products/services using future-tech integration
