Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market readiness
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible technology deployment
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain innovation leadership
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep technical understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, CEIM)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
