Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with rapid iteration cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global tech ecosystems
- Present compelling technology forecasts and adoption strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and adapt strategies accordingly
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking in tech innovation
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure technology ROI and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD or MBA strongly preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of successfully launching technology initiatives with $50M+ impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced materials
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
