Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI and quantum systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate technical innovations into commercialization strategies
- Present findings to C-suite and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum initiatives to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in technology ethics and regulatory frameworks
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Fluency in Python and quantum programming languages
- Clearances for government-level R&D projects preferred
