Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, biotech interfaces) for commercial viability
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate industry shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven ROI projections
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge innovation
- Oversee pilot programs for prototype technologies with measurable KPIs
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a 2026 technology pioneer
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning tools
- Strong stakeholder management with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
