Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with corporate vision and market opportunities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuromorphic systems) with disruptive potential
- Architect proof-of-concept frameworks for next-gen technologies, securing $2M+ annual innovation budget
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into business operations and product development
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives and immersive demos
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force comprising engineers, designers, and market strategists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in emerging domains: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level proficiency in translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Innovation Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, IEEE Spectrum, etc.)
- Experience securing and managing $1M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI outcomes
