Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and organizational growth targets
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 2026 market adoption in mind
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 innovators
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive R&D budget allocation across emerging tech verticals with ROI-focused decision making
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with 3+ years horizon
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
