Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, bio-integrated interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology deployment
- Drive patent development for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech, etc.)
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-level decision-making
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research in emerging tech
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
