Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for next-generation product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business units
- Present disruptive technology proposals to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs for measuring ROI on futuristic technology investments
- Pioneer research partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Anticipate regulatory challenges and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Executive presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
