Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (e.g., quantum AI, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify breakthrough opportunities in nanotechnology, space tech, and neuro interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact analyses
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for technology forecasting and risk assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning and technology lifecycle management
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Strategy (e.g., from Da Vinci Institute)
