Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, quantum, nanotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead incubation of emerging tech startups through our accelerator program
- Secure strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA research labs
- Present quarterly tech briefings to the board of directors
- Manage $10M R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical AI governance frameworks across all initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital
- Certified in Technology Strategy from MIT Sloan or similar
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
