Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing) into product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives, managing budgets and resources for experimental projects
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready methodologies and tools
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced materials science, or synthetic biology
- Experience developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, research institutions, Fortune 500)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills for complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
