Responsibilities
- Scan global tech landscapes to identify disruptive innovations (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics frameworks)
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future technologies pipeline
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal advocacy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-disruptive innovations
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within large organizations
- Portfolio of published research or thought leadership pieces
