Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design ethical frameworks for responsible AI and automation deployment
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk assessment
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs for collaborative R&D
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong data literacy with proficiency in analytics tools (Python, R, Tableau)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
