Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and emerging innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for autonomous systems and immersive experiences
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies in quantum, nanotech, and synthetic biology
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation workshops with global stakeholders
- Monitor patent landscapes and competitive technology landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futuristics
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE) or futures studies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese (for APAC partnerships)
