Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with focus on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis, patent research, and competitive intelligence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough innovations with $10M+ budget oversight
- Develop go-to-market strategies for future-facing products with 18-24 month commercialization timelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons, tech scouting programs, and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with >$50M revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging technologies
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., APF, CTO) or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing global innovation ecosystems across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific
