Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for quantum, AI, and synthetic biology sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging threats/opportunities
- Translate technical capabilities into market-ready business cases with ROI projections
- Manage strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA-aligned institutions
- Present technology roadmaps to executive board and investor committees
- Drive patent development for proprietary breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching at least two category-defining products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Physics preferred
- Deep familiarity with NIST quantum frameworks and IEEE AI ethics standards
- Exceptional financial modeling skills for R&D budget allocation
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Security clearance eligibility (federal projects)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
