Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio success and track implementation progress
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Drive cultural adoption of future-focused thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching technology initiatives with measurable business impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, business, or related field preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies and strategic planning frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology or business innovation
