Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces)
- Analyze emerging tech patent landscapes and competitive intelligence
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture labs
- Present technology disruption scenarios to the board and investors
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks in product development
- Mentor innovation fellows in future-focused research methodologies
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling technology startups or enterprise innovation labs
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Portfolio of executed strategic technology initiatives valued >$10M
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning tools and patent analysis platforms
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting journals
- Experience securing government grants for emerging tech R&D
- Certification in Technology Strategy Management (TSM) preferred
