Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech fusion) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast market shifts and competitive threats
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against future-state benchmarks
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies and tech forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or innovation roles
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and tech forecasting frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futurism, or Business Innovation
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (preferred)
- Experience scaling tech products in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
