Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2030 with measurable KPIs
- Lead market research and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives and investor expectations
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodology and future-tech adoption
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (quantum/AI experience preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep understanding of tech convergence patterns and disruptive innovation cycles
- Executive presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, CSTM)
- Experience managing distributed technical teams across 3+ time zones
