Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-2030 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI ethics, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead R&D partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $500K+ innovation incubator budget
- Mentor 5+ engineers on future-proofing technical architectures
- Drive patent portfolio expansion for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- PhD or MBA from Tier 1 institution with focus on innovation management
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or equivalent
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/venture grants for R&D
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
