Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption potential
- Architect strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global tech ecosystems
- Translate complex innovations into compelling business cases and executive presentations
- Establish governance frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-proofing methodologies and tech ethics
- Present strategic insights at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or venture capital partnerships
