Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ product vision, aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, decentralized systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect scalable frameworks for integrating next-gen solutions into existing enterprise ecosystems
- Drive strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate innovation cycles
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, generative AI, or bioinformatics)
- Track record of translating complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields strongly preferred
