Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neural interfaces, AI governance frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Create innovation frameworks for ethical AI development and sustainable tech implementation
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record in commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotechnology, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Prior leadership in managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Strong network within global tech research communities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
