Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, biotech AI) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present technology visions to investors, boards, and industry forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-sc methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech verticals
- Proven track record of launching market-defining innovations
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
