As a key member of our C-suite innovation council, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives to identify emerging tech trends, evaluate disruptive opportunities, and develop long-term strategies that position InnovateCorp as an industry leader through 2030 and beyond. You'll collaborate with research labs, venture partners, and academic institutions to build our technology pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups in next-gen tech sectors
- Present technology forecasts and innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a dedicated innovation lab focused on prototyping 2026+ technologies
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Drive internal culture of innovation through hackathons and cross-functional innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or sustainable tech
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and P&L for tech ventures
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and research institutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (patents, white papers, or conference talks)
