Responsibilities

- Conduct competitive analysis and emerging tech assessments (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through strategic stakeholder presentations
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track ROI on experimental technologies
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into enterprise architecture
- Represent company at global tech summits (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML initiatives to enterprise level
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE/Nature on disruptive technologies
- Certified in Quantum Computing (IBM/Qiskit) or equivalent
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
