Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI projections for next-gen innovations (AI, quantum computing, blockchain)
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate strategic technology initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on emerging tech
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
- Experience securing multi-million R&D budgets and managing cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or future trends
