Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor technical teams in agile development and rapid prot methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in C-level or director-level roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Experience with international tech ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Published speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
