Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic implementation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to stay ahead of innovation curves
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to integrate future technologies into current product ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, quantum computing)
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate tech strategy to ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and future-trend methodologies
- Certification in strategic innovation management or technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
