Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 3-year vision alignment
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D investment decisions based on future market disruption models
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex futures scenarios
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and technology roadmapping frameworks
