- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and scale breakthrough innovations
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with market disruption goals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech trends and competitive threats
- Drive patent development and IP protection for novel solutions
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/sustainability)
- Proven track record launching market-defining products in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in tech forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional leadership experience with matrix organizations and cross-cultural teams
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Certification in strategic planning (e.g., CSP, PMP) preferred
