Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts and market disruptions
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and competitive advantage
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor partnerships for cutting-edge R&D
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with agile methodologies and stage-gate innovation processes
- Portfolio of implemented strategies with measurable business impact
