Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map 2026 technology adoption curves and competitive landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech integration (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Present future scenarios to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academic researchers, and startup founders
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Wired, MIT Tech Review, and Future Today Institute
- Oversee a $2M innovation budget for prototyping 2026-vintage technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Published author or keynote speaker at CES, Web Summit, or Davos on future trends
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or Business Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology forecasting with documented ROI
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, scenario planning, horizon scanning
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Must have predicted at least one major tech trend (e.g., generative AI) before mainstream adoption
