Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and company vision
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and business teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
- Drive culture of innovation through internal hackathons and future-tech workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends and market disruptions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, etc.)
- Experience developing multi-year strategic plans with measurable KPIs
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certifications in strategic planning or emerging technologies preferred
