Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability (AI/ML quantum computing, biotech convergence, sustainable tech)
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact analysis
- Establish innovation partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory trends affecting technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies to anticipate paradigm shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for technology disruption preparedness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate tech
- Certification in futures thinking, technology foresight, or equivalent (e.g., CFAI, APF)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Strategy, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members
- Published thought leadership in technology trends or innovation strategy
