Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging trends and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications for future tech adoption
- Drive R&D investment decisions for next-generation technology portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Entrepreneurial mindset with startup or corporate innovation experience
